Banner Advert Specifications
We offer 3 advert sizes and placements:
Homepage Large Leaderboard Banner Advert
This banner can display in multiple positions on our homepage. We use two banner sizes for large and mobile screens. The large screen banner ad size is 970 pixels wide x 90 pixels high. Example shown below. The mobile banner ad size is 300 pixels wide x 250 pixels high.
General Large Leaderboard & Leaderboard Banner Adverts
This banner can display in multiple positions on our general pages. On large screens we use two sizes depending on the page;
- The large leaderboard size shows on pages with no sidebar. This includes our Cambodia guide and map listing pages. The large leaderboard banner ad size is 970 pixels wide x 90 pixels high. Example shown above.
- The standard leaderboard size shows on our pages with a sidebar. This includes our blog categories and topic pages, individual articles, events archive and individual events. The standard leaderboard banner ad size is 728 pixels wide x 90 pixels high. Example shown below.
On mobile both use the banner ad size 300 pixels wide x 250 pixels high.
Sidebar Medium Rectangle Banner Advert
This banner can display at the top or bottom of the sidebar on any pages where the sidebar shows. This includes our blog categories and topic pages, individual articles, events archive and individual events. The banner ad size is 300 pixels wide x 250 pixels high. Example shown below.
So if you want to advertise in all advert spots on our website you will need to create 3 banner advert sizes:
- Large Leaderboard: 970 pixels wide x 90 pixels high
- Standard Leaderboard: 728 pixels wide x 90 pixels high
- Sidebar and Mobile: 300 pixels wide x 250 pixels high
In all cases your ad will be added to a pool of banner adverts in each position. A random banner ad is selected from the pool on each page load so that each banner gets equal exposure. Many pages have multiple ad spots so multiple ads from the same pool can be shown on each page.
