One Traveller has partnered with the ‘Refill not Landfill’ campaign to promote sustainability in travel and to become a more environmentally friendly tour operator.

One Traveller’s tours to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand offer guests a refillable aluminum souvenir bottle to use during their trip and to keep afterwards in order to minimise the use of plastic water bottles that often end up in the countryside, streets, lakes and rivers.

Safe purified drinking water is available at various refill stations on route including hotels, historical sights and on board some of the coaches. The ‘Refill not Landfill’ project is looking to expand its efforts more widely in other countries and One Traveller aims to offer this scheme in more destinations in the future to widen its contribution to sustainable tourism.
